Laser keeps on living into the carbon era.
Team Laser worked for the development of this project, maintaining the concepts that made the glorious steel version now using modern technologies in order to make it available in carbon fibre.
The special design of the Laser Viva project requires a strict control of the production process made possible by the craftsmanship of the Italian manufacturing.
The bottom bracket (BSA) thanks to the famous lower fin, together with the reduced size of the section of the tubes and the fairing of the nodes of the frame, considerably increases the aerodynamics of the bicycle. The offset of the seat tube to the centre of the bottom bracket shell, allows you to shorten the rear stays and make the bike very snappy and responsive.
The monocoque 1-1/8" fork with straight blades in aero section, confers exceptional handling and control of the bike, together with considerable damping of the vibrations. The seat tube is compatible for seat post diameter 27.2 mm.
The frame is supplied with special adapters to allow internal cable routing for the wiring of an electronic group-set.
Classic geometry with sizes from 48 to 62 in 1cm increments. Creation of custom sizes after the feasibility study by our technical department.

The best technical know-how of the Columbus Carbon LAB and with the frame-making experience of Cinelli have created Very Best Of (VBO): the new carbon fibre monocoque frame, the top of the Cinelli line.
Every single element of the frame has been analysed and developed to achieve maximum performance and reduced weight, thanks to brilliant combined use of T700/HM carbon fibres, Pure Racing Geometry and total internal cable passage, for use with either mechanical or electronic groups (Born to be Wired).
Steering column 1-1/8" - 1-1/4" designed according to the 60/40 ratio-standard between the down tube and the top tube, for improved tube interaction, taking stress off from the down tube, above all, in conditions of high frontal fork strain, as in sudden braking at high speeds. Steering control is significantly improved, also thanks to the slight curvature of the new monocoque fork blades.
The saddle joint is one of the outstanding characteristics of the VBO frame, the point at which most of the rider's weight is transferred and where strains from the road are transmitted most strongly. To minimize them we have created a special transition zone, slimming the rear posts to make them more vertically flexible, and by connecting the top tube so that the vibrations from the rear wheel, instead of being transmitted to the seat post (and, therefore, the rider), disperse strains along the horizontal and vertical tubes. The choice of a 27.2 diameter seat post makes the bike even more comfortable.
The bottom bracket, completely in carbon, permits easy cable routing, concealing the lower section, improving the looks of the bicycle and significantly reducing aerodynamic resistance. The oversized construction of the bracket housing and the R/H chain stay increase the lateral stiffness of the frame, considerably improving pedalling efficiency. The L/H chain stay allows easy attachment of an external battery for an electronic group.

This is the frame of the Granfondo Cinelli Glass & Go team, which has taken our racers to countless victories. As the name suggests, we made some modifications to this high-end Cinelli best-seller, to make it compatible with internal cable routing of electronics group sets.
The frame is designed for competition and made with the finest aeronautical carbon fibre.
The monocoque bottom bracket has been enlarged to accommodate the Press Fit 86,5 mm cartridge, and as a result the lateral stiffness of the frame has been incredibly increased, with a decisive impact on pedalling efficiency. This characteristic is boosted further by the Zero Torsion Flexion based on the use of the triangular section of the seat stays.
Cable routing is completely internal, also for the mechanical groups. Smooth operation is guaranteed by the presence of small Teflon sheaths inside the down tube, ensuring easy assembly while improving the bike's look.
The Columbus Genius 1-1/2" monocoque fork with blades set back by 5 mm with respect to the steering axis, with a particular curvature, absorbs the high-frequency vibrations from the road surface, increasingly comfort and steering precision at high speeds.

Thanks to a CNC aluminium parts kit that include the cables stoppers or perforated plates, depending on whether a traditional mechanical or new electronic group is used, it is very easy to set up the frame for one or other version.
The section of the tubes of the Saetta Race Cut increases in keeping with the size of the frame, to optimize weight: small sizes are made with slimmer tubes.
The top tube has a particular shaped section (Skeletal Efficiency Philosophy): it gets thinner at the central part, like the bones of a human skeleton. Another example of efficiency, to reduce weight without altering strength.
The curvature of the rear stays continues in the top tube, granting continuity to the carbon fibres, improving lamination and achieving Progressive Flexion Control for more fluid, safe cycling.

Cinelli's explosive mid-range monocoque frame for the highly trained amateur is now equipped with the Columbus monocoque Solida fork. Completely designed by the Columbus Carbon Lab for unparalleled reliability and efficiency in this weight division.
The shape of the key frame joints have been studied to minimise the level of the specific stress (Low Sigma Transition) in the transition points, significantly increasing the reliability and fatigue resistance of the frame.
Top tube has been aggressively thinned out into a skeletal structure (Skeletal Efficiency Philosophy) with carbon material arranged in the paths of maximum stress. A Constant Arc from the top tube to the chains stays has been designed in order to exercise the inherent laminate qualities of the material under vertical deformation. This provides progressive control of the flex of stays and top tube (Progressive Flexion Control) creating a noticeably smoother and more consistent ride quality.
All the tube's sections of the main triangle increase according to the size of the frame to give the greatest efficiency and suitable ride quality.
Material savings from top tube and seatstays are redistributed to the bottom bracket area and 'swollen' chainstays which has been considerably bulked up, producing a relatively high level of stiffness relative to weight, while maintaining strong and certain progressive handling.
